I am originally from the United Kingdom, but have now made my home in Paralimni, Cyprus.

I have always been an arty type, painting and drawing, and I have been taking photographs for over 30 years. It started when I was at a boarding school deep in Dorset, UK. I had a lot of encouragement from the art staff there, and plenty of material to shoot. I originally used to shoot film, and had my own darkroom to play in, but I have recently made the change to digital photography, which has opened so many new doors, it has given me a complete new playground.

I don't have any particular forte, instead, I experiment in all aspects of the art. One area I do enjoy working in, is Macro. It is a challenging subject, but I do feel at home there. I also enjoy photographic rebuilding. I take an old photo, one that has suffered from years of neglect, or maybe has been somewhere where it has suffered damage, and bring it back to life. It is challenging work sometimes, but the rewards, seeing someones faces at the 'new' image, make it all worthwhile.

When I run out of pics to play with, I jump into my 4x4 and go off into the countryside and find something to shoot, there is always something out there!
